Danish workmanship. 71 x 198 x 123 cm (without leaves) 289 (with leaves) Width of leaves: 49.5 cm (Wear from use, one leg slightly bowed, difference in colour on one of the leaves). Provenance: La Boutique Danoise, 42 avenue Friedland. 75008 Paris, a copy of the purchase invoice dated 28/01/1966 will be given to the buyer. Did you know: Born in Denmark, Vodder studied in Copenhagen with his friend and mentor, the legendary Danish designer Finn Juhl. The pair went on to work together and established themselves as one of Scandinavia's most eminent mid-century designers. In the 1950s and 1970s, Vodder's furniture designs were used by President Jimmy Carter in the White House and President Anwar Sadat in Cairo.
