ART DECO Art Deco platinum bracelet adorned throughout with round brilliant-cut old European diamonds. Some parts are decorated with small royal blue sapphires, probably synthetic. In the centre, a larger old marquise-cut diamond weighing approx. 0.60 ct, making a total of almost 7.50 ct of natural diamonds of beautiful colour. Dimensions of the central diamond: 9.35 x 4.71 x 2.35 mm. Bracelet size: 19.8 x 1.7 cm. Gross weight: 34.3 g. While Art Deco bracelets are worn individually today, this was not necessarily the case in the 1930s. It was not uncommon to wear as many as five or seven simultaneously on the same arm. That's why, when several Art Deco bracelets appear in the inventory of an estate, they're not all the same length! There are shorter ones for the height of the wrist and longer ones for the beginning of the arm. Why just shine when you can sparkle so brightly?
