Art Déco vase "Tragi-comique" by Gabriel Argy-Rousseau, flask shape. Pâte de verre, mould-melted, cut lip rim. Semi-opaque to opaque wall of colourless glass with paste fusions of violet, green and red glass, surrounding decoration of a frieze with six theatre masks of ancient tragedy and comedy, triangular bands and rosettes. Remainder; designed by Gabriel Argy-Rousseau, 1922, signed "G ARGY ROUSSEAU". H. 24.5 cm.
