Lot no. 199
ARTISANAT DE MAROLLES
Blond oak sideboard with 4 drawers and iron escutcheons.
W: 260 - D: 60 cm
Acquired from Claude Lézé.
In 1964, Jean Touret decided to devote himself entirely to sculpture; he left the artistic direction of the "Artisans de Marolles et du Loir et Cher" group. The craftsmen in the original group became independent again, founding a new group called "Artisanat de Marolles", which was joined by a joiner from Blois, Mr Leze.
