The handiwork of a Belgian prisoner from Vielsalm. Perhaps from an Ardennes hunter, named Tromme. Engraved aluminium soap box Left Vielsalm on 10 May, arrived at camp on 23 May 1940, returned to Vielsalm on 13/2/1941. On underside engraved Tromme 22325 Stablack (sic) 10-2-41 Farewell . Wooden cover with aluminium inserts forming his name TROMME. Attached is a wooden pen box engraved with a hunting scene and flowers. Handicraft made by a Belgian prisoner from Vielsalm. Possibly from an Ardennes Chasseur named Tromme. Aluminum soap box engraved Left Vielsalm on May 10 arrived at camp on May 23 1940 returned to Vielsalm on February 13 1941. Underside engraved Tromme 22325 Stablack February 10 1941 Farewell. Wooden lid with aluminium inlays forming the name TROMME. Includes a wooden pencil case engraved with a hunting scene and flowers.
