PATRONYMICAL ASSET - Jean Pélisson de Gennes, seneschal. 1748 in white earthenware, painted in blue monochrome. Decorated with men, a layman and a clerk. Names inscribed: "Mr jean de gene senechal de st denis et de marane 1748". Nevers, late 18th century. Diameter: 24.4 cm (Minor visible accidents) The subject is Jean Pélisson de Gennes who was appointed seneschal of Saint-Denis d'Anjou and Morannes (Maine-et-Loire) in the middle of the 18th century. Provenance : - Jean-Claude Edrei, antique dealer in Paris. - André Supiot (1945 - 2010).
