Gross weight 54.95 g The bracelet is housed in a case sheathed in aubergine morocco on the outside and navy blue velvet on the inside. navy blue velvet on the inside, bearing the following gilt markings: "FALI...... Ainé & Fils - Probably for Falize Ainé et Fils (i.e. Alexis the father and Lucien the son). Lucien the son) .5.. Avenue de l'Opéra. Here is a summary of what we have learned by cross-checking the information provided by the hallmark, the inscription inside the case and the administrative and jewellery information collected by Mr Rémi Verlet in his dictionary of jewellers and goldsmiths orfèvres (2022 edition for the Ecole des Arts Joailliers VCA). The hallmark relating to Alexis Père et Lucien Fils, belonging to the jewellery and goldsmiths' shop located at 43 (and not 55?) Avenue de l'Opéra, was inscribed from 1875 onwards. from the one on our bracelet. Indeed, the hallmark most probably present on our bracelet is that of bracelet is that of maître Falize ainé & Fils "L.F. Fils, une bague et une perle" insculpé in 1892. This bracelet was made by Louis, son of Alexis Falize and father of André Pierre and Jean Falize. and father of André Pierre and Jean Falize, contained in a somewhat earlier case from the company.
