ATTIC RED-FIGURE SKYPHOS WITH OWLS Ca. 450 - 400 BC. A red-figure skyphos decorated with two owls shown frontally, each with large circular eyes and linear wing markings. Laurel branches rise along the sides, flanking the handles and separating the two birds. The vessel has a slightly tapering body, twin horizontal handles, and a low disc foot.
