Signed and dated. 1903 Modern sculpture with a lively, animated surface by Prendoni, who studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan under Ernesto Bazzaro and became his assistant. His works were shown in various exhibitions alongside famous fellow artists, including internationally at the "Italian Exhibition" at Earl's Court in 1904. In addition to small figures, Prendoni also created larger works such as the monument to Francesco Cucchi in Bergamo (1920). H. 33.5 cm.
