NEO-RENAISSANCE PENDANT
Yellow gold and enamel, depicting a mascaron embellished with an emerald drop and holding, on a chain of alternating twisted links and ruby motifs set in a closed setting, an agate bust (probably an emperor of the Flavian dynasty), highlighted with grotesque creatures, mobile pearls (untested) and centred on a square ruby set in a closed setting. The reverse of the pendant entirely decorated with enamelled foliage, representing the god Janus and surmounted by a profile of a Roman emperor in sardonyx.

A diamond, ruby, natural pearl (not tested), agate, enamel and 18k gold pendant, probably figuring a Flavian emperor. 19th Century.
