NEO-RENAISSANCE PENDANT
Yellow gold and enamel, depicting a mascaron embellished with a pearl (untested) and holding, on an alternating chain of links and ruby motifs set in a closed setting, a zoned agate bust (probably of a Roman emperor), highlighted with grotesque creatures and mobile pearls (untested) and centred on a cabochon of rubies set in a closed setting. The reverse of the pendant is entirely worked and surmounted by a profile of a Roman emperor in sardonyx.
