ATTRIBUTED TO SEBASTIANO TORRIGIANI (ACTIVE IN ROME 1573 to 1596), AFTER GUGLIELMO DELLA PORTA (PORLEZZA 1515- ROME 1577), late 16th century Christ on a column in gilded bronze. Christ is standing contrapposto on his left leg, his hands tied behind his back and his face turned towards the sky. Surmounted by a silver openwork nimbus, the column is missing, the base of which is covered with a plot.
