The justification of the print run is handwritten. 29 x 23 cm.   Augusto Ignacio Vallmitjana was a Catalan photographer and filmmaker who spent much of his artistic career in Argentina, specifically in Buenos Aires and, earlier, in Paraná, where he played a very important role in the art of photography. There he opened the Sala Augustus or Augusto, a hub of activity during the 1930s that brought art to the inhabitants of Paraná and where numerous photographers and painters exhibited their work. “La casa ibicenca” was published a year after his return to Spain, on the island where he settled and lived out his final years, passing away in 1981.
