Standing clown in green/red silk robe with a painted papier-mâché head and painted wooden hands, wood and metal construction. The torso contains a wind-up mechanism and a music box playing one melody. The clown balances a metal sword on his nose, turns his head, and plays a painted wooden guitar with the right hand. Gray/blonde hair and ruffled lace. With a fabric-covered wooden base. 1 winding key. H 84.5 cm. Provenance: Collection of Volker and Christina Huber, Offenbach. Fabric partly stained and with losses. Im Torso ein eingebautes Werk mit Federaufzug, Musikwerk mit einer Melodie. Per Drehmechanik balanciert der Clown ein Metallschwert auf seiner Nase, dreht den Kopf und spielt mit der rechten Hand eine bemalte Holzgitarre. Grau/blondes Haar sowie Rüschen-Spitze.
