BABYLONIAN HEMATITE DUCK-SHAPED WEIGHT Ca. 2200 - 1800 BC. A weight carved from hematite in the form of a recumbent duck. The body is compact and rounded, with folded wings indicated in low relief along the sides. The head is drawn back along the curve of the back.
