Adorned with 14 original figures by Francis Bacon, Camille Bryen, Jorge Camacho, Robert Couturier, Sonia Delaunay, Max Ernst, Man Ray, André Masson, Sebastian Matta, Henry Moore, Arpad Szenes, Dorothea Tanning, Vladimir Velickovic and Vieira da Silva (10 coloured etchings, 3 black etchings and one coloured lithograph), all signed by the artists. Limited edition of 145 numbered copies on Arches wove paper, one of only 100 in the trade (no. 19). The work is particularly sought-after because of the portrait of photographer Peter Beard by Francis Bacon, whose first etching it is. He made a total of 36 prints, most of them executed with the help of Georges Visat, as is the case here. Cover and slipcase a little sunned, otherwise a perfect copy.
