BACTRIAN CHLORITE COSMETIC PALETTE
Ca. 3000 - 2000 BC. A Bactrian cosmetic palette made from a lightweight stone. The palette is square and divided into four hollows, with the external walls decorated with geometric motifs. Provenance: Property of an Oxfordshire art professional; previously in an old British collection, formed in the 1980s on the UK / International art markets.
