18k (750 thousandths) yellow gold ring set with a superb cushion-cut purple pink sapphire weighing approx. 2.67 ct. of intense, very vivid colour and great transparency. A few tiny crystalline inclusions in suspension allow the laboratory to indicate that the stone has not been treated, as it has not been heated. The origin of this sublime stone has been determined to be Burmese. There are a few light scratches on the edges and on the tip of the breech.
