Wooden plates, smooth, functional push button. Cruiser marked 5.D.197, most probably for 5e régiment de Dragons. Iron scabbard with number 47 stamped on the back near the bowl. Superficial oxidation. Sawback blade, wooden grips, functional press stud. Crossguard marked "5.D.197," probably for 5th Dragoon Regiment. Iron scabbard stamped "47" near the throat. Light oxidation.
