In-4, bradel white marbled paper with painted decoration consisting of a green octagonal frame, spandrels and a central gilt fleuron, smooth spine decorated, gilt edges, cover and spine (Modern binding). One of the first books to be printed entirely in polychrome lithography and one of the finest works produced by Barbat père et fils. Only 55 copies were printed. The text, printed in different colours and sometimes in gold lettering, is set in frames decorated with arabesques and rocaille or architectural motifs in the Gothic style. One of 50 copies on double-sided white porcelain paper, very well preserved.
