Umlaufende Futterlochungen mit zum Großteil erhaltenen Futternieten. Darunter seitlich je zwei Lochungen zur Befestigung des Kinnriemens. Fein nach außen gebördelter, unterer Rand, im Nacken zwei vierkantige Hängelochungen. Schwarze, leicht krustige Brandpatina mit brandbedingten, kleinen Kupferaufschmelzungen und kleinen Korrosionsausblühungen. Durch Feuereinwirkung leicht deformiert. Höhe 28 cm, Gewicht 2.700 g. Extrem formschön gearbeitete Barbuta, in der seltenen und begehrten korinthischen Form. Vergleichbare Helme befinden sich u.a. in der Wallace Collection in London (Inv.Nr. T-shaped face opening with a short nasal bar, with a broad, riveted flange. A row of lining holes around the edge, the majority of the rivets still in place.
