Baroque silver cup, fully gilded. Conical body with smooth rim zones of varying widths set off by narrow moulded lines and a delicately flaring lip rim. The wall surrounded by finely worked snakeskin decoration. Engraved depiction of the Habsburg double-headed eagle with shield and dated "1713" on the underside of the base. "1713". Marked, hallmark, Master Johann Christoph I Treffler (becomes Master 1680). Weight approx. 115 g. H. 8.3 cm. Cf. Seling, 2007, BZ 1380, no. 1773. A German Baroque beaker by Johann Christoph I Treffler (master since 1680). Engraved and dated with the Habsburg double-headed eagle. Assay and master's mark. German. Augsburg. 1709-1712.
