Baroque cabinet with silver foils. Ebonised wood and ebony on oak, veneered as well as wafer-thin, finely embossed silver foils. Straight, rectangular body flanked by turned columns of moulded frame and ivory baluster feet. Two doors with flat cushion fillings in the compartmentalised front. Behind them, staggered compartments with an architecturally structured, mirrored centre section, surrounded by various, partially concealed drawers of different sizes. The panels with allegorical depictions of faith and mercy as well as the four seasons, surrounded by lush tendrils. Stepped rising lid with secret drawer and inset mirror surface, flanked by large depictions of, among other things, Hope. Rest. with additions; h. 32 cm. 40 cm x 27 cm. CITES certificate available.
