ROYAL BAS-RELIEF The royal figure is shown in full bust, his head in profile to the left. Adorned with a false beard, his head is topped with a pschent and frontal uraeus. His neck is adorned with an ousekh necklace. He presents a globular vase as an offering. Above and facing him is the horizontal ankh cross, a symbol of eternal life. Limestone. Slight restoration. 34 x 41 cm Egypt, 30th Dynasty or early Ptolemaic period, 4th century BC A 30th Dynasty or early Ptolemaic period sandstone relief depicting a pharaoh.
