A copy given by Sophoklís Venizélos (1894-1964) - the second son of the "founder of modern Greece" Elefthérios Venizélos (1864-1936) - then Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs, as part of Greece's accession to NATO, to American Vice-Admiral John J. Ballentine (1896-1970), Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. 6th Fleet in the Mediterranean and "good friend of Greece", with an autograph dispatch dated February 1951. Some foxing, fragile parchment cover slightly faded.
