Paris, Helleu, 1917; square in-8, red long-grained morocco, decorated with bold and light gilt fillets, fleurons at the corners and in the centre, inner frame in the same decorated morocco, lining and endpapers in green moire, smooth spine decorated throughout, gilt edges, cover (Noulhac). First edition of André Gide's introduction. It is decorated with two portraits, headpieces, endpapers and fleurons engraved by Perrichon. Marais laid paper. Luxurious binding. Slight rubbing to the hinges.
