BEDEUTENDER WEIHRAUCHBRENNER MIT HOHEN HENKELN. China. Qing-Dynastie. Yongzheng-Periode (1722-35). Bronze, fein graviert und mit dunkler Patina. Auf einem feinen Rautenfond große Fledermäuse, auch als taotie-Masken zu lesen. Im unteren Bereich eine umlaufende Reihe von Kartuschen mit stilisierten gegenständigen Vögeln. Die abnehmbaren Henkel wie auch der Hals mit stilisierten Drachen, die Beine mit Löwenköpfen. Solche großen Weihrauchbrenner wurden in Familientempeln und als repräsentative Objekte in Palästen benutzt. Der gut passende und reizvoll geschnitzte Sockel wurde im 19. Jh. ergänzt. Höhe 46cm, Ø 42cm. Außen auf dem Mündungsrand: Jing zhi (In Ehrerbietung hergestellt). Im Boden: Sechsteilige Yongzheng-Marke und wohl aus der Zeit. Dreibeiniger, runder Tisch. Dunkles Hartholz, geschnitzt mit Drachen und Löwenköpfen. China, 19. Jh. Höhe 58cm, Ø 55cm. Zustand A/B. Provenienz: -Privatsammlung Hamburg. Von einem Vorfahren Ende 19. Jh. vor Ort erworben. Yongzheng period (1722-35). Bronze, finely engraved and with dark patina. On a fine rhombus foundation large taotie masks consisting of bats. At the lower part cartridges with stylized opposing birds. The detachable handles as well as the neck decorated with stylized dragons, the legs with lion heads. Such large censers were used in family temples and as representative objects in palaces. The well-fitting and charmingly carved pedestal was subjoined in the 19th century. Height 46cm, Ø 42cm. At the outside of the mouth edge: Jing zhi (Respectfully made). Underneath: Six-part Yongzheng mark and probably from the period. Three-legged, round table.
