Die Mitteltafel zweigt den auf einem reich verzierten Thron sitzenden Christus. Zu seinen Füßen knien die Heiligen Antonius und Theodosius im Mönchsornat. In den oberen Ecken schweben zwei Engel mit den Leidenswerkzeugen Christi. Der rechte Flügel zeigt die Gottesmutter im Dreiviertel-Profil, der linke Flügel stellt Johannes den Vorläufer mit einer geöffneten Schriftrolle dar. Im Hintergrund felsige Landschaft mit spärlichem Pflanzenbewuchs. Den Himmel zieren ornamental gestaletete Wolken sowie Sternmotive. Sehr feine Schattierung der Inkarnate in weißgehöhten Brauntönen. The central panel finely painted with Christ enthroned. Two angels in the upper borders bearing the Arma Christi. In the foreground the monastic Sts. Anthony and Theodosij bowing in supplication. The wings showing the Mother of God to the left, and Saint John the Baptist to the right. Depicted on a brown coloured ground, a rocky landscape with sparse vegetation. The background decorated with curling clouds and stars in gold. The icon executed in a refined style reminiscent of Yaroslavl icon painting in the late 17th and early 18th century. Rendered in fine detail with rich colours, gilt highlights added throughout. With gilt metal covering finely tooled and engraved with foliage.
