[BELGIUM]. Charming set of 15 works in 15 volumes, bound in midnight blue half-maroquin, spine ribbed and gilt with crowned imperial numeral N at head, gilt or stamped fillet to boards, gilt edges. Bindings signed H. Wood. Reunion of works in similar bindings on a common theme: Belgium, particularly during the First World War, with specialised works on diplomacy, art and the Belgian crown. Several volumes enriched with letters from authors and publishers addressed to Princess Bonaparte Ex-libris stamp with the crowned M.C. figure of Marie Clotilde Bonaparte on several volumes. Provenance: Collection of Princess Marie-Clotilde Bonaparte, Countess of Witt, which has remained in the family to this day.
