Binding signed H. Wood. Each book contains 22 and 23 captioned photographs respectively. The large format has handwritten captions, while the in-12 format has printed and dated captions. A very interesting visual record of Belgium during the First World War. Ex-libris of Charles Cormeau and Jean Heuse in one of the albums, and one in the form of a stamp with the crowned figure M.C. of Marie Clotilde Bonaparte. Provenance: Collection of Princess Marie-Clotilde Bonaparte, Countess of Witt, which has remained in the family to this day.
