BEAUTIFUL COURT SWORD in 925/1000th sterling silver with ovoid pommel decorated with a flower on an amatized background on each side and interlacing floral garlands, wooden spindle covered with a filigree of twisted silver and iron wire, single-branched openwork hilt chased en suite, bivalve shell pierced with floral decoration adorned in the centre with a medallion chased with a flower on a bitter background, triangular blade, leather scabbard with silver cap with en suite decoration, silver-plated metal bolt. L: 93 cm, blade: 75 cm, punches of the common house of Paris 1769 and of discharge of the small works to the flower (1768-1774). Louis XVI period. Pitted blade. BE
