A beautiful Nineteenth Century oval snuffbox Commentary: Olga Valerianovna Karnovitch (1865-1929), second wife of Grand Duke Paul Alexandrovitch of Russia, known as Princess Paley. After the October Revolution, she fled Russia and settled in France, where she died in Neuilly-sur-Seine.
