Lot no. 14
In-12 oblong, reused parchment with calligraphy and rubric, smooth spine (contemporary binding). A very curious "manual of everyday conversation, a sort of Assimil method for merchants and travellers".
This Liège reprint includes seven dialogues, a chapter on epistolary writing and a glossary in seven languages, printed in as many columns and accompanied by pronunciation and grammar notes.
An attractive copy, bound in contemporary manuscript parchment, with a handwritten bookplate at the foot of the title: Antonii Szutter academici Cracoviæ anno 1770.
Binding worn with slight loss and worm damage, pale marginal dampstaining on the first half of the volume, small tears not serious on a few leaves, small angular loss on f. d2.
