Blue and white, Qianlong mark Blue and white porcelain vase decorated with "Lotus". Bulbous in shape, the exterior of the vase is finely painted, in the 15th century style, with a band of composite scrolls. The foot features a classical scroll beneath a petal border, and the shoulder is decorated with another composite scroll above a band of ruyi. Leaves rise from a wavy band at the neck, and another ruyi border encircles the flared mouth. Underglaze Qianlong mark in blue, six-character seal and possible date. China. 39 cm.
