The zips have been unsewn from the original, except for the one on the right side, which remains functional and bears the manufacturer's mark Zipp. The paratrooper has drawn the insignia of the 5th Fallschirmjager between the buttons. The regimental eagle was originally cut off, probably during a war capture by an American soldier. It was then sewn onto a piece of fuzzy camouflage fabric attached directly to the blouse, according to the seller, by his mother. The inner lining is a Feldgrau lattice fabric. IB stamp markings are visible. The sleeve linings, in grey sateen, show noticeable wear. There is some general wear, a marked patina, stains and several tears. Condition II+.
