Lot no. 191
BA XIII 1916 M1915 Bluse. In feldgrau cloth fastened with 6 buttons of the correct model. Green collar with small L-shaped non-commissioned officer braid. Boot sleeve facings. Green canvas lining, size stamp, 1916 BA XIII reception stamp. A small stamp in blue ink GR119 implying a posting to the 119th Württemberg Grenadier Regiment, but quite unusual in shape and size, possibly a later addition. Dressing pocket present. Two chest pockets have been added, found on WW1 photos for non-commissioned officers, or Reichswehr modification. The bluse has been modified Reichswehr by closing the back slit at the bottom of the back. Good condition, wear to collar. Field Blouse M1915, BA XIII 1916 Field-grey wool tunic with six regulation buttons, green collar with NCO braid "L." Boot-style cuffs. Green cloth lining with size and depot stamp "BA XIII 1916." Small blue ink mark "GR119," possibly referring to Württemberg 119th Grenadiers (unusual marking). First aid pocket intact. Two added chest pockets, as seen in wartime photos of NCOs, later Reichswehr modification with rear vent closed. Good condition, collar wear.
