First German edition. - VD 18 14520079. - The Polish historian Bartosz Paprocki (1540-1614) conducted genealogical studies in order to investigate the relationship between Polish and other Slavic families. For this reason, and because he had "an old evil wife who made his life very sour" (Jöcher II, 1244), he travelled to Silesia, Bohemia and Moravia. - This work, originally written in Polish, was first published in 1593 in a Czech translation by Jan Wodiczko under the title "Zrcadlo slavného Markrabí moravského". - Browned due to paper wear, endpapers, title page and adjacent pages somewhat glue-stained, title with old library stamp (Allg. Bibl. d. Bezirk Potsdam DDR) on verso, otherwise generally well-preserved.
