A late 18th century round fly box in 750°°° pink gold and tortoiseshell plates. The centrepiece is a painted miniature of an elegant woman in bust form from the Empire period (diameter 5 cm). Paris hallmarks: de charge des menus ouvrages 1780-1789, de décharge 1780-1789 pour les petits ouvrages. The punches of Jurande and M.O. too erased are unusable. Slight bumps on the gold hoops, one of which needs to be reattached to the inside, and minor flaking. Gross weight: 110.6 g. Dimensions 8 x 2.5 cm.
