Mle 1891 bluish iron grey police cap of the 6th Infantry Regiment. In bluish iron grey cloth, in fine condition. Sweatband in fine unbleached cloth with a fine reception stamp dated 1916. On the front, left, a die-cut number 6 in madder-coloured cloth on a dark blue, almost black, cloth backing, sewn onto the cap. The flaps are attached to the cap by small hooks. Very fine condition. On the front left side, a red cloth "6" cut-out sewn on a nearly black blue cloth backing. Earflaps fastened to the body with small hooks. Excellent condition.
