Sombart, 8 December 2014, no. 294. In its original case. Medal consisting of two plates welded in silver-plated bronze, according to the manufacturing techniques of the period. Nice grey patina for this remarkable composition. Superb at Fleur de coin. Heinrich Kautsch (1859-1943), of Austrian origin, learned the engraving trade from his father, a goldsmith. He studied in Vienna, Prague and various other capitals. He was a member of the Jury at the Chicago Exhibition in 1893, as well as at the 1900 Paris Exhibition, as vice-president of the Jury (class 97) and a member of the Bosnia-Herzegovina commission, for which he produced this plaque.
