RAVISHING "LES INSEPARABLES" MINAUDIERE
In guilloché silver and vermeil, rectangular in shape, the mirror-backed lid decorated with flowers and butterflies applied with enamel, finely chased foliage and flowers set with round rubies and cabochons, birds taking flight, their beaks and plumage applied with rose-cut diamonds, enclosing in a cage in the centre, two birds with plumage applied with coloured enamels, their heads and wings embellished with diamonds. It contains a mirror, two lipstick cases and four miscellaneous compartments.
Made in the 1940s.
Signed, numbered and hallmarked.
Accompanied by three fabric cases for carrying as an evening bag.
