Gilt silver buckle with filigree decoration of cabochons set in six-pointed stars, coloured enamel highlights, tughra of Sultan Mahmud II (r. 1808-39) on reverse.

A gilt silver filigree belt buckle with polychrome enamel highlights, also decorated with six-pointed stars, is in the collections of the Benaki Museum in Athens, originating in Anatolia and dated to the 18th century (ΓΕ 33813).
