Three large vol. in-4 (33 x 21), full contemporary shagreened calf, 5-ribbed spine, decorated compartments, red morocco title-pieces, brown morocco end-pieces. Bandeaux, lettrines, culs-de-lampes. Bindings faded (jaws marked or cracked, spine and boards rubbed, headpieces dulled, spine of volume II missing), top of title pages cut to remove a handwritten inscription, otherwise fresh inside.
