BOW BROOCH - former Kofler-Truniger collection Eastern Hungary, Gepidic, 1st half of the 6th century AD. Silver parcel-gilt and set with almandine garnets. Six profiled knobs with semicircular cells, profiled bow and lozenge-shaped base. The inner fields are decorated with a spiral pattern. L 13.9 cm. A few losses. Gilding slightly rubbed.
