A 750/°°° yellow gold and silver (fineness over 800/°°°) bangle bracelet, hinged at several points, stamped, chiselled and engraved. The central openwork motif is adorned with old-cut diamonds set in silver (fineness over 800/°°, in antique cuts – cushion and round (approx. 3.80 carats in total). France, 1850–1870. Eagle’s head hallmark and Caillot & Peck master’s mark, 20 rue des Moulins, Paris. Width of motif: 3.1 cm. Handle circumference: approx. 16.8 cm.
