BRACELET WITH RAM HEADS
Grand Tour, 19th century, in the Achaemenid style.
Gold sheet ca. 18ct, hollowed out inside, finely chiselled and decorated with geometric patterns made partly from twisted gold wires. Two seals with relief depictions of animals. The ends are shaped like ram's heads with horns made from white stone.
L 9.6 cm, H 8.5 cm.

Swiss ownership.
The bracelet is based on a model from antiquity which is exhibited in the Paul and Alexandra Canellopoulos Museum in Athens.
