Very good condition, some minor oxidation to margins. 39.8 x 12.8 cm. Printed by "G.De Andreis-Marseille" . The Velten family, a Lutheran brewing family from Alsace, settled in Marseille in the early 19th century. In 1880, Eugène Sébastien Velten founded the limited company Grande Brasserie du Midi, which later became Brasseries de la Méditerranée . Brasserie de la Méditerranée continued to expand until the 1930s. But in 1939, Lyon's major brewers had to form an association (Rinck, Royale, Winckler and Velten), the Société des Brasseries Lyonnaises. Velten then concentrated all its production at Saint-Rambert, ceasing all activity in Marseille.
