BRETON (André). De l'Humour noir. Paris, G.L.M, 1937. 2 small stapled booklets in-8, blue and orange covers illustrated by Yves Tanguy, folder and slipcase. Rare first editions of De l'Humour noir and André Breton, who spoke about l'Humour noir during a conference at the Comédie des Champs-Élysées on 9 October 1937. The first booklet includes the quotation from Sade and a reproduction of André Breton's collage on the masters of black humour, with the names of the authors on the back. The second is illustrated with the leaflet on the masters of black humour, and also includes the programme for the 1937 Paris International Exhibition and the issue of Anthologie de l'Humour noir. Unnumbered copies.
