From 1931 to 1937, she was a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest. Her teachers were Oszkár Glatz, István Szőnyi, and István Réti. She continued her education at the Nagybánya artists' colony. She worked not only as a painter but also as a sculptor, creating nudes and animal sculptures. Exhibitions of her works were held in 1969 in the Adolf Fényes Hall and in 1973 in Szentendre. Works by Brigitta Vidéky are in the Hungarian National Gallery and the Budapest Art Gallery.
