Brooch in 18k (750 thousandths) white gold with the central diamond loosened for gemmological report. 4.20 ct round brilliant natural diamond, colour I, clarity VS1 with weak fluorescence. This round brilliant cut diamond is an old cut, which gives it the grade of correct cut. It is also what gives it the necessary cachet to be a diamond of the period when the brooch on which it was placed was created, i.e. the 1940s. The diamond is accompanied by an IGI report dated 30 June 2025 nr. 717516778. Small diamonds adorn the sides of the brooch. Two prongs are missing as they were sawn off to remove the diamond. Diamond dimensions: 11.11 - 11.20 x 5.80 mm. Brooch length: 3 cm. Gross weight of the brooch without diamond: 6.5 g.
